Global Geoparks Network (GGN)

The Global Geoparks Network (GGN) is an international, non-profit organisation connecting UNESCO Global Geoparks worldwide. Established in 2004, it provides a platform for sharing knowledge, developing partnerships and improving geopark management. Through training, conferences and joint projects, its members advance geological heritage conservation, education and sustainable local development. Membership is mandatory for all UNESCO Global Geoparks, making international cooperation an essential part of their work.
